Microsoft together with OpenAI should have outraced Google with ChatGPT. Google has been a leader in Data Science and AI, but now Google is behind in the area of chatbots but also the integration of them in other services.

As an answer in February 2022, Google made the ChatGPT competitor Bard available to initial testers. Followed by the more comprehensive rollout at the end of March.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai has now exactly revealed in an episode of the Hard Fork podcast how Google’s Bard is to continue and how the chatbot can best be used in everyday life [1].
