Snowflake launches new Google Connectors
How to easily connect to Google Analytics
With new Data Engineer approaches like Zero ETL and Cross Cloud Analytics, more and more Data Warehousing and Analytic services are following similar methods.
Now, Snowflake goes the same way after they have announced the Open Data Lakehouse for cross solution analytics, they have now announced another connector to ease data integration: the preview of Snowflake Connector for Google Analytics Raw Data and Snowflake Connector for Google Analytics Aggregate Data. The expected release date is January 29th of this year, but can be subject of change[1].
Google Analytics is a prominent web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic and also the mobile app traffic currently as a platform inside the Google Marketing Platform brand. You can use it to analyze user actions, track the number of visitors and page views, and analyze bounce rates for a page[2].
